  3. Xterra Eureka Springs

    Saturday was the annual Xterra at Lake Leatherwood in Eureka Springs. John and I had done this race a couple of times in the past and always enjoyed it and this year a large group from the Springfield area was participating, including some who had never done an open water swim before. If case you’ve never been to Lake Leatherwood before and want to do this race, I would highly recommend riding the course ahead of time as it is extremely technical and hilly.

    Introducing the OMC Super Sprint! A FREE* chip-timed grand prix style super sprint triathlon sponsored by Ozarks Multisport Club in conjunction with the 2012 Nixa Youth Triathlon. The OMC Super Sprint is a 200 yard snake-style pool swim, followed by a 10K bike (6.2 miles), followed by a 2K run (1.2 miles). For more information see below:
